ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Emmen is a NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory that provides an extensive range of Materials Testing, Corrosion Testing, Weld and Product Qualification Testing, as well as Failure Analysis services to the Oil & Gas amongst a host of other industries.
Emmen’s team of Engaged Experts have extensive backgrounds in material science, material engineering, and welding methods & technologies. In addition to a significant number of mechanical tests (including fracture toughness testing, SENB & SENT), they also provide Drop Weight Testing (DWT) & Drop Weight Tear Testing (DWTT).
From a weld perspective, the team provides highly experienced and certified weld and weld technology experts, servicing welding procedures, welder qualification testing & welding consultancy.
Emmen Materials Testing Laboratory
The laboratory is equipped with an extensive machine shop and has a full suite of metals testing capabilities including mechanical and fracture mechanical testing, metallography, chemical analysis and corrosion testing. The Failure Analysis team are highly experienced in determining root cause failure analyses, providing advice on material selection, failure prevention and repair procedures, and deliver Expert Witness service to the forensic sector.
